WRC, Ott Tanak e Martin Jarveoja vincono l'Ypres Rally Belgium

Ott Tanak e Martin Jarveoja a bordo della Hyundai i20 N Rally1 si aggiudicano l’Ardeca Ypres Rally Belgium 2022. Una edizione ricca di colpi di scena con continue uscite di strada, che hanno visto la classifica mutare prova dopo prova.

Il primo ad uscire di scena è stato il leader del campionato Kalle Rovanpera, che, dopo aver vinto la prima speciale, è incappato in un’uscita di strada nella seconda prova speciale, abbandonando i sogni di gloria per la gara belga e per la vittoria in anticipo del campionato.

Sulle sue orme, anche l’irlandese Craig Breen e ieri, grande colpo di scena con l’uscita sulla penultima prova di giornata dell’allora leader della gara Thierry Neuville, che dopo aver dominato dalla seconda prova fino alle quindicesimo, è uscito di strana ed ha perso di fatto la gara.

Seconda posizione combattuta con Tanak per Elfyn Evans e Martin Scott, a bordo della Toyota GR Yaris Rally 1, che fino all’ultima speciale ha provato ad insediare il leader della gara Tanak. Terzo posto per Esapekka Lappi e Janne ferme su Toyota GR yaris Rally1, seguito a grande distanza da Oliver Solberg e Elliott Edmondson su Hyundai i20 N Rally1, che che dopo l’uscita di Adrien Fourmaux che lo tallonava, ha amministrato l’ultima speciale, confermando la quarta posizione.
